Pick a duration, press start, and the clock counts down. The hands show the time that is left and the alarm rings when it reaches zero.
Made to be seen from a distance
The clock face fills the screen on purpose. The coloured arc drains at the same rate as the countdown, so you can read the progress from across a room even if the digits are too small to make out. In the last ten seconds it turns red and ticks once per second.
The screen stays awake
While the timer runs, the page asks the system to keep the screen on. You can leave it on a tablet or a projector without it going dark halfway through.
Frequently asked questions
Can I set a duration that is not in the buttons?
Yes. The field below the presets takes any number of minutes, decimals included. Enter 2.5 for two and a half minutes.
Does the alarm work in a background tab?
Yes, as long as you have pressed a button on the page beforehand. Browsers block audio until there has been an interaction.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. The countdown keeps running even if the connection drops.
